Our training programmes offer tried and tested methods for understanding and engaging in conflict, and navigating difference.

Place for Hope is delighted to be running the inaugural Certificate in ‘Faith in Change and Conflict’ in Scotland in early 2021.
Knowing there is help and support available can be a great source of hope for those experiencing difficulties and divisions within their congregations and communities, and Place for Hope have a proven record in helping individuals and faith communities find both support and ways through the difficulties.
This advanced course is for all in leadership (ordained, lay, formal, informal) in our churches who want to deepen their learning about conflict, change and transition in faith contexts, in order to strengthen their skills base for local application.
Over the two 3.5-day sessions, the course will cover four units:
£850 early bird rate until 30th September, thereafter £950 (30% deposit payable on application)
Fee includes catering, accommodation and training materials for the two 3.5-day blocks
This event is eligible for Church of Scotland Study Leave.

We know that bullying and harassing behaviour exists in our church/faith communities. How can we respond with dignity and respect as our core values? This new workshop guides participants through the dynamics of bullying, and equips them with ways to respond.
