How is Place for Hope funded?

    • ACTS (Action of Churches Together in Scotland)
    • The Scottish Government
    • The Methodist Church

  • Dioceses, congregations, groups and individuals not covered by our funding arrangements are invited to pay fees for specific services (e.g. help in a crisis, facilitation, coaching or training).
  • Our work is made possible by the generous donations and legacies of individuals who want to help enable this work.

How do we spend the donations and funding we receive?

  • Training, supervising and supporting our Practitioners
  • Staff costs to help with the coordination and delivery of the work
  • Venue, travel and accommodation expenses for delivering the work and subsidised course fees (where it is not possible for congregations, groups or individuals to cover these cost we may be able to offer financial support)
  • Resource development
  • Publicity, marketing and professional services
