Coaching

Leadership can be both challenging and rewarding. For those in positions of responsibility, encouraging healthy relationships is a key dimension of their work. Times of change or difficulty can result in leaders feeling isolated or overwhelmed – particularly if relationships within a group or community are challenging and there is resistance to ‘connecting with each other’.

How we can help

Place for Hope can offer tailored one-to-one coaching for people in positions of leadership who feel they would appreciate a bit more support. People with substantial leadership experience deliver our coaching. They are very familiar with the pressures and challenges involved in these roles and are skilled in navigating change and conflict. We provide this tailored one-to-one support face-to-face, by video-conference or phone. It can take the form of a one-off conversation or a series of sessions. Before concluding our support, we will review the process, and, by mutual agreement, extend our arrangement if required.

How does it work?

If you would like coaching support, please get in touch. Working together will typically include the following steps:

  • You make contact
  • We have a telephone conversation with you to discuss your situation
  • We review how we can help and agree costs (if relevant)
  • We identify a Practitioner best suited to your needs
  • Our Coach contacts you to discuss and agree the aim and scope of work, as well as how we will work together.
  • The support is delivered (this could be a one-off session or a series of conversations)
  • We invite feedback and evaluation.

If you have any queries about your situation or this process, give us a call or drop us a note. We are here to help. For more information, visit our Practicalities page which includes information on costconfidentiality and how quickly we are able to respond to requests..

“Leadership is about creating change you believe in. Leaders lead when they take clear positions, connect with their people and help their people connect with each other.” — Adapted from Seth Godin quote
