Trustee - Finance and Fundraising
Posted: 08 Jun 2022Trustee sought with finance and funding expertise
Place for Hope is a charity which accompanies and equips people and faith communities so that all may reach their potential to be peacemakers, able to navigate change and conflict well. We are rooted in Scotland but work collaboratively in partnerships with faith communities across the UK and beyond.
We are seeking a new Trustee with skills and experience in finance and fundraising to join the Board of Trustees and to Chair our Finance and Funding Forum (a sub-committee of the Board) as we look to grow our work and income in new directions and to develop a detailed 5-year funding strategy. Experience of overseeing financial governance and planning in a charity is advantageous.
This is a voluntary role with a commitment to attend about 10 meetings a year, mainly by Zoom, with some work in between, probably totalling about 10 days’ work annually. A location anywhere in the UK is possible as most meetings are online.
